Bridging the Gap Between Potential and Opportunity

At Mindflight7, our mission has always been to democratise education and career exploration. We believe that a learner’s postcode, background, or physical abilities should never dictate their future. However, for many First Nations Australians living in remote areas, or those navigating complex needs, traditional career advice often falls short.

To create genuine workforce readiness and equity of access, we need more than just innovative technology - we need deep community trust, cultural safety, and on-the-ground support.

That is why Mindflight7 is incredibly proud to announce our strategic partnership with Real Futures Australia, a majority Aboriginal-owned and managed organisation dedicated to empowering First Nations people through job-readiness training, employment services, and community capacity building.

Real Futures delivers proven programs that create real change and real growth for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across Australia. They are experts in supporting First Nations Australians to realise their potential, particularly those with complex needs, through vital initiatives such as:

• Disability Employment Services (DES): Assisting people with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions to prepare for, find, and maintain meaningful employment.

• The Community Development Program (CDP): Operating in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, this program addresses the unique barriers of remote job seeking.

• Women’s Business Second Chance Hub: Providing dedicated support services for First Nations women.

Real Futures provides the vital community relationships, cultural competency, and tailored mentorship required to help First Nations Australians thrive. Mindflight7 provides the technological bridge to make the "impossible" accessible.

By integrating Mindflight7’s immersive Virtual Reality technology into Real Futures' established programs, we address two critical barriers to employment:

1. The Geographic Divide: Our Wi-Fi-free VR headsets bypass the need for reliable internet or travel, bringing the million-dollar lab and the corporate office directly to the community centre.

2. Psychological Safety and Complex Needs: VR allows participants to "try before they buy" in a completely fail-safe, judgement-free environment. They can build confidence and test their aptitude for different industries before taking the physical leap.

We are officially kicking off this partnership on the ground at the Transition To Work Youth Summit in Geraldton, WA, on 21 July, 2026. The Mindflight7 team, featuring a main-stage presentation by Liam Kearon, will deploy our VR XR Labs to provide hands-on, interactive career exploration for the region's youth.
