Mindflight7 Partners with SKEIYA to Pilot Inclusive VR Education
At Mindflight7, our overarching mission is to drive "Equity of Access" in education. We believe that immersive technology should not be limited by geography, learning style, or socioeconomic background. Today, we are proud to announce a strategic pilot program that takes this mission global with Kenya-based SKEIYA Management.
Led by visionary founder Syombua A. Kibue, SKEIYA is confronting a critical educational challenge in East Africa. In Kenya alone, over 950,000 children with disabilities remain entirely out of the school system. Traditional educational environments often struggle to accommodate neurodivergent learners, including children with ADHD, autism, and unique learning differences.
To bridge this gap, SKEIYA is launching the Sports Central VR Centers - Kenya’s first dedicated VR learning and sports hubs designed specifically for all children, regardless of ability.
Mindflight7 is honoured to be the technological partner powering this initiative. As part of a low-risk, high-impact market validation pilot, we are providing our immersive educational infrastructure, including access to our library of over 200 curriculum-aligned applications. This allows the local SKEIYA team to build a space where learning is experiential, engaging, and deeply inclusive.
As Syombua A. Kibue profoundly noted: "We spend a lot of time talking about education. We spend very little time talking about belonging... A place where technology opens doors instead of creating barriers."
This partnership represents a core pillar of our growth strategy - capacity building through strategic, impact-driven partnerships. Over the coming months, the local Nairobi team will conduct on-the-ground demonstrations and community engagement, proving the efficacy of XR technology in transforming educational outcomes for disadvantaged and special-needs backgrounds.
