WHAT STUDENTS TAKE AWAY

Subjects connect

One session moves from a space mission to a dissection, showing students how science, maths, art and engineering lean on each other.

Learning by doing

Students carry out the procedure instead of reading about it, which is what turns an abstract idea into something they remember.

Problem solving

Hands-on scenarios build the habit of working a problem through, a skill that transfers well beyond the headset.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Through immersive educational VR experiences, STEAM subjects come alive as students engage with skills and techniques across various focus areas. These experiences transport students into scenarios like open-heart surgery, guided tours through unique ecosystems, space missions, and even animal dissections, enabling them to see and feel these skills in action.

Beyond mere observation, students actively discuss the significance of STEAM integration and how the acquired knowledge and abilities seamlessly transfer and interrelate in real-world contexts. By plunging into these dynamic encounters, students gain a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

This hands-on approach bridges theoretical concepts with practical applications, empowering them to become adaptable problem solvers and critical thinkers, ready to tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving world.

“Mindflight7 was incredibly accommodating to the children and to our needs for curriculum based programs. They built an immediate rapport with the children and was very flexible with the use of their technology to guide them to the learning outcomes."

Martin Ray, Primary School Teacher at Elsternwick Primary School
