Kicking Off a New Era at the Immersion in Education Summit
To mark this exciting new chapter, we hosted the highly successful "Immersion in Education Summit" on 26 - 27 June at Meta’s APAC office. The event drew an incredible 150 committed education leaders over two days, brimming with energy and enthusiasm for Extended Reality (XR) in the classroom.
The Summit powerfully demonstrated how VR supports constructivist learning, enabling students to 'learn by doing' in a risk-free environment. Discussions highlighted VR's ability to address key educational challenges like boosting engagement and motivation , clarifying abstract concepts , bridging theory to practice , and enhancing knowledge retention by up to 75%.
