Calling all students in Years 5-12!

Get ready to experience the thrill of competitive gaming with Australia's first-ever National Schools VR Beat Saber Competition! Mindflight7 is proud to partner with The FUSE Cup, a global leader in school esports, to bring this groundbreaking event to schools across the nation.

This competition offers a unique opportunity for students to:

  • Develop valuable skills: Beat Saber requires focus, coordination, and strategic thinking – all essential skills for success in the classroom and beyond.

  • Experience the power of VR: Immerse yourselves in the exciting world of virtual reality and discover its potential for education and entertainment.

  • Embrace friendly competition: Compete against other students in a safe and supportive environment, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

What is Beat Saber?

For those unfamiliar, Beat Saber is an incredibly popular VR rhythm game where players use lightsabers to slash through blocks that fly towards them in sync with the music. It's a high-energy, addictive, and incredibly fun way to get active and challenge yourself.

How the Competition Works:

  • Regional qualifying rounds: The competition kicks off with regional qualifying rounds held in Gold Coast, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Sydney.

  • National final: The top teams from each region will advance to the national final at The FUSE Esports Festival on the Gold Coast in November 2025.

  • Prizes: Exciting prizes will be up for grabs for the top-performing teams.

  • Professional and Safe Environment: The FUSE Cup and Mindflight7 staff will supervise the competitions, ensuring student safety and compliance with national standards.

  • Inclusive Gaming: The competition is designed for all skill levels, providing a fun and supportive environment.

  • VR Hardware Provided: Mindflight7 will provide all the necessary VR hardware for the competition, so schools don't need to worry about equipment.

Mindflight7's Commitment:

At Mindflight7, we're passionate about harnessing the power of VR to enhance student learning, engagement, and well-being.  We believe this competition is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the potential of VR in education and inspire students to explore new technologies.
